It is without a question that the most recognizable symbol among all luxury cars belongs to the Mercedes-Benz. The tri-star has become an international symbol and is in my belief the most important factor in a consumer's decision when buying a new car. Mercedes has a rich history and has been linked to royalty as well as celebrity.
BMW, Lexus, and even Porsche fall short when it comes to the level of branding that Mercedes has been able to obtain. All of these cars including Mercedes are cars that are considered entry level luxury cars. But even the super high end luxury cars have had no answer to the Mercedes symbol.
